About Us

Hi, my name is Jacinta, I am the owner of The Thinkin Tree Flower Farm.

My family and I moved to Heyfield in 2009 where we bought a small acreage farm.

I have always been a farmgirl, I grew up on a beef and crop farm in North East Victoria and yearned to return to the land and build a farm-based business.

I was lucky enough to be introduced to the world of the native flower farming industry. It was then I saw my path in life, I fell in love with the flowers, the lifestyle, and the cut flower industry.

In 2018, with the support of my family, I took the leap and started planting a variety of native flowers and foliage.

Since then we have expanded our farm and are excited to be adding a number of different species to their growing list of native flowers.

The Story Behind the Name

“The Thinkin Tree Flower Farm”

It’s a little bit quirky, quite long, and hard to get all out when answering the phone!

But there is nothing more beautiful than the legacy that comes with the name of this little flower farm.

In 2017 the Johnson family lost their precious little girl, after a long battle with childhood cancer. She was the toughest little princess warrior and brightest shining star.

In a cherished video, she stands in the front paddock of the family home, climbing amongst a group of sapling gums, proclaiming that she was in her “Thinkin Tree”.

It was the perfect memorial to our little girl-
